The whole WP edition fails to download- even in auto download mode. For example, the Sports section only refreshes when you link to it. Unlike NYT, there is no <recently viewed> category. So you can lose an article if you switch to another app or answer a phone call... Very frustrating.

Fast way to read the Post. This version works well. I subscribed last year when they had a special deal at $29/year. Then a few months ago I got a renewal notice saying that they will charge $149 to my PayPal account. This is too expensive, but I guess Bezos wants a profit.

I really enjoy the articles and I have had no problems with the stability of the app.

The interface has improved over the years, and the writing itself is the best out there, along with the New York Times writing. This is the first app I turn to for news, even before the Times app and Apples aggregator, which, once configured to my liking, works extremely well.

Ever since this update I cant get the app to open. It crashes immediately every time I open it.

The Washington Post has one of the best news apps available.

I am on this app everyday at lunch. It is my big-picture news source. Great job!!

Disappointed I cant read comments in the app.

Only wish there was an easier way to customize it to show the sections I want to use most.

I used to just use the website to read the Post on my phone, but the app provides a much better experience.

Pins are a good addition. Now need to consolidate platforms. Why do you need a classic and a blue app?

The app is very dependable well designed and does the basics quite well. The new update is excellent.

For an app that I have to pay for the content, I shouldnt have to see advertising. There are also many duplicate articles served up.

Good app. I wish W-P had subscription service for iPad like NYT.

I hate how the first page is not news, but to stories, which inevitably means opinion columns. He iPad app is much better. Also, how can the nations paper have 5 democratic opinion pieces for every 1 republican piece? And the republican pieces are all very moderate and the democratic pieces are aggressive and nasty. The NYT is actually more moderate, which is remarkable.

Worth the subscription fee for terrific articles on a broad range of topics.

I love the WP but the app format should not have advertisements if I am paying a subscription and should have easier font adjustments.

If you like American government and the attendant politics than occurs around it, WaPo covers it like the major company in town--which it is.
