In my opinion The Washington Post has a different DNA compared to other American news institutions. I describe your corporate journalism personality as unique, having depth and is fresh.
With diamonds and gold there is a limit to how far down we can dig. The Truth is the same. Perhaps the WP is able to dig deeper than most and expose what is found. This is crucial because shallow Truth and deeply buried Truth often have no resemblance to each other.
